Camera Obscura

During my artist residency, I transformed the house into a camera obscura to capture the surrounding seaviews and Greystone Gardens using one of the earliest image-making techniques. Initially inspired by the view through a round window, the project evolved into an exploration of the relationship between interior and exterior spaces. The projection of the outside world onto the interior created a space where light reflected both the environment and the identity of the house. Everyday objects, left untouched, became part of these fleeting images—revealing a quiet dialogue between nature, memory, and belonging.
