Two weeks after I gave birth to my son, my father passed away. He didn’t get to meet George or Evelyn, who was born two years after. Trapped in postpartum depression and grieving, I wanted to find a way to introduce them to each other and grant my dad’s last wish, to not be forgotten. Using family archive, I connect elements from my dad’s images to snapshots of my children growing up, creating space for storytelling, where old and new memories intertwine.
